2019 Plein Air for the Park  
July 8th – July 21st, 2019
The Grand Teton Association (GTA) and Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters (RMPAP) present their 8th Annual Fine Art Show and Sale. Forty percent (40%) of the proceeds from the show benefit Grand Teton Association in support of educational, interpretive and scientific programs within Grand Teton National Park.

Participating artists will arrive Monday July 8th and paint “en plein air” (outside in open air) in Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. A selection of their “wet paintings” will be on display at the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center, in Moose, from Wednesday July 17th to Sunday July 21st.  


2019 EVENT SCHEDULE
MONDAY JULY 8 
Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters arrive and paint in Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole.

MONDAY JULY 15:
Schwabacher’s Landing, Grand Teton National Park 
Grand Teton Association "Morning with the Masters" Youth Paint Out 9:00AM -1:00PM, July 15
Aspiring young artists are joined by RMPAP for a morning of plein air painting. Registration begins in early May. 

TUESDAY JULY 17:
Jackson Lake Lodge, Grand Teton National Park 
Artist Demonstration 9:00AM -12:00PM, July 17
Enjoy the “en plein air” painting process and interact with the artists at the historic Jackson Lake Lodge.

WEDNESDAY JULY 18:
Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center, Moose
Purchase Patron exclusive preview, (Invitation only) 11:00AM, July 18 
Exhibit opens to the public at 12:00PM, July 18
Private Reception, (Invitation only) 6:00PM - 8:00PM, July 18PM
All works are for sale. Reserve works are available in the “Wet Room” for viewing and purchase.

THURSDAY JULY 19
Jenny Lake Lodge, Grand Teton National Park
Artist Demonstration 9:00AM -12:00PM, July 19
Enjoy the “en plein air” painting process and interact with the artists at the historic Jenny Lake Lodge.

SATURDAY JULY 20
Grand Teton National Park 
Quick Draw 9:00AM -11:00AM, July 21 
Enjoy watching participants create a finished work of art from a blank canvas. These paintings will be offered for sale at the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center immediately following the Quick Draw. This is a fixed price “off the easel” sale.

SUNDAY JULY 21
The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor’s Center, Moose, WY. Art show and sale concludes at 4:00PM.
